The new ‘capillary gymnastic’ programme

In its continuous search for innovation and avant-garde, the Dr. Panno Hair Transplant Clinic announces its new ‘hair gymnastics’ programme, based on an intensive treatment aimed at strengthening hair for both patients suffering from alopecia and for patients who do not suffer from it. These treatments can be applied as an adjunct to personalised medical treatments or as a stand-alone treatment.

Non-invasive hair stimulation therapy: what is it and what are its goals

Non-invasive hair stimulation therapy consists of the application on the scalp of a series of physical and chemical stimuli that are combined with each other forming a continuous sequence that is progressively enhanced. These stimuli achieve a strengthening of the hair from the roots because the massage stimulates blood circulation in those areas.

On a daily basis, the scalp loses its thickness and mobility for different reasons (stress, genetics, etc.), becoming more and more rigid and adhering firmly to the bone plane of the skull. This situation is aggravated when there are contractures of the cervical and epicranial muscles, which cause compression of the capillary network in the region and, as a consequence, there is a decrease in blood supply. In this situation, the hairy roots show restriction of their blood supply, and therefore their nutrition, and they begin to elaborate finer and weaker hair, falling out prematurely.

Non-invasive hair stimulation therapy pursues the following objectives:

  • Relieve and restore the elasticity and mobility of the scalp

It manages to reduce the stiffness and hardening of the scalp caused by the almost permanent contractures of the muscles of the head and neck, caused by stress and nervous tension. Also this state of the hair can be caused by a previous hair surgery.

  • Improve blood supply

As the normal mobility and elasticity of the scalp recovers, the numerous capillary networks work again and this allows the constant and permanent flow of blood towards the hair roots. This provides enough nutrients for hair to look healthy and strong.

  • Regulates the functioning of the sebaceous glands

The Dr. Panno Hair Transplant Clinic offers its patients three non-invasive hair stimulation programs that differ in the types of stimuli and in the weekly frequency. If you are interested, do not hesitate to contact us and we will offer you all the information you need about hair grafts.
